Univariate Analysis:
Analyzing and visualizing single variable. It helps to analyze anomalies too. It is divided into Ordered,Unordered and Statistical category.
Categorical Unordered(Nominal) Univariate Analysis:
Plot bar graphs, histograms to understand frequencies.
Categorical Ordered Univariate Analysis:
Plot bar/pie graphs to understand about the data.
Statistical/Numeric Data:
Analyze mean/median/mode/variance/Standard deviation/ First and Third quantile.
Bivariate and Multivariate Analysis:
Correlation does not imply causation. There may be spurious correlations.
Numeric -Numric data:
Plot types:
- Correlation matrix
- Scatter plot
- Pair plot
- Heatmap
Numeric -Categorical data:
Use groupby and plot heatmap, Draw boxplots.
Categorical-Categorical data:
Heatmaps would give better results.
